Traditional Stained
Glass . . .
Traditional stained glass is produced by the
copper foil and solder method. As you think about a stained
glass piece, consider where it will hang and the amount of light that
will go through it. Then choose your pattern or design your
own. Color choices of the glass will come next. The glass
is cut, foiled and soldered into the finished piece. The value
of a stained glass piece is determined by the cost of the glass as
well as the intricacy of the design.
